What have I been up to?

I have been quite busy since Mom lost the Internet. We got up and running again today...so that's good. This is how I woke Mom up on Wednesday...actually this is how I wake her up every morning. I pull my bumper down and peek out - all smiles of course. I lay there and coo until she sees me. I think she likes it!
On Thursday Ezri came to play again. I sure do like her! I spend the day following her around, smiling, and trying to touch her. In this picture we had just finished swimming. Do you like our matching swim diapers?
On Friday I started to crawl!!!!! Look out - here I come!
On Saturday Mom and Dad took me to Ikea for the first time. I picked out this way cool dragon while we were there. I especially liked the shopping carts - so much fun!On Sunday I practiced feeding myself. These are my favorite...peach puffs they are called! I am getting better at picking things up on my own, but I still need practice.
Today I went swimming in a REAL pool - at Meme's house. She got me this floating crab. I love LOVED it! I laughed and kicked me feet - trying to swim on my own.

7 months old

Yup...it's July 24th, and that means I am 7 months old today. (And luckily they didn't disconnect the Internet yet...so you get to see my pictures. Lucky you!)

Sorry...

We are switching Internet providers since we are "bundling" services. That means we will be disconnected from the Internet for a week while we wait for the new service to install. SORRY! ...but we will see you again next Monday - July 30th!

First Tooth!

Look what Mommy found today...a little hard to see, but definitely there! ...and look! I am even happy and cooperative when Mommy is half torturing me to get a picture. What a sweet boy I am!

The Boy Who Lived...

...through the Harry Potter midnight release party at Barnes&Noble.

YAY!!! Book 7 is here at last!

I went to a big party last night at the bookstore. They were counting down to midnight - the official release of the new Harry Potter book. There were SO MANY people there...but I was the only baby! Mommy drew a little lightning bolt scar on my forehead with some lip liner and I looked just like Baby Harry. Everywhere Mommy and Daddy went they enjoyed the wake of, "Oh look at that cute baby!" coming from everyone. I WAS pretty dern cute. I met Voldermort and got my picture taken with him - didn't like him one bit (why would I?).

Mommy said it just wouldn't be right to NOT take me (of course she didn't want to miss it herself)...it is the last book and all.

Then today she made me pose with the book and wear my lightning bolt scar all day. People smiled everywhere we went. All this excitement over a book? NEAT!

Pooling Around

I went in a swimming pool for the first time today...LOVED IT!!!!

New friend...

I went with Mommy to meet baby Micahel today. He is the baby of her teacher friend (I call her Auntie Karen). He is only eight days old. Mommy wanted to take pictures of him, but I just wanted to play with him! He was so tiny...he made me look HUGE! I was a very gentle boy and Mommy was very proud of me. I most liked playing with Baby Michael's dad, Big Michael - he was a funny guy.

I didn't really like the food Mommy made for me tonight. I wouldn't eat it. Instead of wasting it and throwing it away Mommy decided it would make a good "sensory experience" for me...whatever that means! I had F-U-N!

Mystic Aquarium

Mommy and Daddy took me to the aquarium today. It is official...I love all things aquatic! I saw sea lions, seals, beluga whales, fish, sharks, and all sorts of creatures! I most liked the penguins, because this one funny penguin kept swimming around right in front of me. My favorite part was meeting Fribbit. He is a big blue frog and the aquarium's mascot - I was WAY excited every time I saw him! Mommy and Daddy even let me pick out a stuffed animal - I picked a Beluga whale and I love to talk to him!

Someday I will NEVER forgive Mommy for this...she already knows. But then again, with a toosh as cute as this, who could resist?

Two firsts...

These are the two (beautiful) children Mommy photographed today. The little boy was in her 1st grade class last year, and the little girl was in her kindergarten class this year. They really liked me (their Mom really, REALLY liked me!). This was my first time on a hammock - it was GREAT! Sweet dreams

Mommy took these during my naps today. I guess she must think I am awful cute while I sleep. The first is from this morning - I STILL love my honey bunny! The second is from this afternoon - you can see my face better there. Man, I was OUT! Even though Mom and Dad keep trying to get me to sleep on my back...I won't. I simply refuse!

Cousin count-down

Did you hear?!!! I have TWO baby cousins on the way! One is growing in Auntie Heather's belly (he's supposed to come out Novemebr 1st) and one is growing in Auntie Desiree's belly (she/he? is supposed to be out December 2nd). I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Check out my cousin count-down timers at the bottom of my blog...they are way cool! They will be there untill the big events. I will personally keep you posted.

GOATS!!!

I loved my first 4th of July! On the 3rd Mommy and Daddy took me to Stanley Park where there was live music, ice cream (for Mommies & Daddies) and FIREWORKS! I loved them and didn't cry at all. On the 4th we went to Chesterfield to see a parade. I most liked the sirens and the clowns. After the parade there was a BBQ and a petting zoo...I love, love, LOVED the goats (and Daddy remembered to bring the antibacterial wipes so THAT was a good thing).

I went to my first car show today with Mommy, Daddy, and Uncle DJ. I LOVED looking at all the cars...I did NOT love that Mommy left me sitting on the ground to take this picture.

Back again (again!)

The computer crashed again...we have yet to meet one that will stand up

to the power of the Bages!...but we're back again (again).

Lots has happened in the last week!

I turned 6 months old!

I moved to a new house. I loved playing in the moving boxes.

I made sure Mommy and Daddy packed all of my toys.

My new house even has a cool swing!

I am practicing learning to crawl. I can't do it yet...but I can get up in the right position. Eevery time I try to go forward, I end up going backwards. I know I'll get the hang of it though. I started eating teething cookies - and I LOVE THEM!!!! Why don't you grown-ups

eat them every meal?
