4-14-08...water table

It was prety warm today so Momma took out something she called a water table. It is a table with water in it, go figure. I LOVED it!!! I splash, splash, splashed and had a ball.

Ezri and I worked together to scoop and pour water.

Then I tortured Ezri a little. Brew-ha-ha-ha...FUN!

4-13-08...still practicing

I continue to work on the fine art of feeding myself. Some days go better than others.

4-12-08...Lexie's back!

Lexie came over for a visit today. We played all over the yard, had a cook-out, and even got a wagon ride. Daddy says I have lots of girlfriends. I can't help it.

4-11-08...hat on

I like to wear a hat when I am outside, just like Daddy. This is my Green Day hat.

4-10-08...rock collector

I found a rock in the yard to day and brought it over to Momma. She told me it was called a rock. Then she walked me over to an area in the yard and showed me there were more rocks to pick up. Soon I had toomany to carry and she got me a bucket. I took my bucket on a rock hunt all around the yard. I found a bunch!

4-9-08...sandbox salutations

Today I discovered I like sand. (It was my first time playing in a sandbox...a VERY special moment in every boy's life).

4-8-08...bee bo

(That's the tiny hippo way of saying belly button...just ask Ms. Sandra Boynton)

Today was the first day warm enough to wear a t-shirt. YAY SPRING! And it just so happens I learned right where my belly button is located just this week. Mommy has had me practicing all the body parts fervently for weeks now. The first one I ever managed to get right was my ears. She cheered SO MUCH that now I pretty much always point to my ears. No matter what body part she says. My belly is the only other one that I get right.

4-7-08...hip hip hooray...

It's a Gymboree day! Hello Gymbo.

4-6-08...where's Mahoney?

A new way to play "on top" with Mahoney.

4-5-08...motocrossed

I went to my first motocross race today. I couldn't take my eyes off the bikes. Daddy used to race at this track when he was a teenager...and Momma came with him to watch. Neat.

Boy was it rather cold though...WAY too cold for April.

4-4-08...Kitty!

Must...Pet...Gonzalo!!!!

4-3-08...Tubby Toes

I get so wrinkley in the tubby. Momma calls this my "tubby toes."

4-2-08...Easter car

Meme got me this car for Easter. I am really figuring it out now. When I push a button on the steering wheel the car just goes. It's amazing. if Momma wants to, she can stand behind me and help me steer witht hat red bar.

4-1-08...Reading with Daddy

I love to read!

This is my favorite book lately. It is a Baby Einstein book about colors, and I know a bunch of sign for things I see in the book, so I like to tell Momma and Daddy all about it. We are looking at the blue page here. On this page I really like to talk about the truck and the birdie.

3-30-08...still sick

Sill not feeling completely better. Momma is still realy bad, and Daddy is sick too now. Meme is coming over to take care of us.

3-29-08...tummy flu

Momma and I have the flu. The good news is I really don't mind throwing up. I play, play, play, PUKE, and go right back to playing.

3-28-08...babysitting Matt

I helped Daddy babysit Matt today (Momma couldn't help becasue she was sick).

3-27-08..."all done" swinging

I am signing "all done" to let Momma know that I am ready to get off the swing.

I have been signing a lot lately - and I know so many! So far I sign: more, all done, eat, drink, milk, dog, cat, bird, airplane, sun, moon, clean up, blanket, shoes, ball, play, hat, on top, outside, Momma, Daddy, book, please, sorry, hurt, happy, sad, flower, telephone, car, fish, water, boat, bath time, sleep, wake up, music, and love. PHEW! That's all I could think of. And it is so much fun to "talk" to Momma and Daddy.

Also I am relaly starting to pair up vocalizations with my signs. Momma says she just knows I will be talk, talk, talking in no time.

3-26-08...picnic

The weather is FINALLY starting to warm up. it was so nice out today that Momma decided we should have lunch outside. During lunch I heard an airplane flying by. Here I am signing "airplane" to tell Momma what I saw.

P.S. Please not the pile of peas on the ground next to my chair. HA!

3-26-08...still searching

STILL finding Easter eggs outside. Can you believe it?

3-25-08...15 months old!

...and I will NOT stand still any longer!!!! Brew-ha-ha-ha! Good luck Momma.

12-23-08...Happy Easter

Happy Easter, happy Spring, happy, happy EVERYTHING!!!

Look at all the goodies the Easter Bunny left for me. Good 'ol EB!

Momm and Daddy tok eme outside for an Easter egg hunt. I was very good at finding eggs. They were EVERYWHERE! And it was SO COLD outside! After a while I got cranky and wanted to go inside - I didn't even care that there was more eggs to find.

We used the eggs I found in this photo shoot. Hmmm...this set up looks familiar. I am ahaving a little deja vu!

Meme gave me my first chocolate bunny - YUM!!!
Then Daddy took it away because he said I was going to choke. Aw, man!

3-22-08...Easter eggs

I made my very first Easter egg! First, Momma gave me a special crayon and I colored on the egg. Then I pointed to the color i wanted and Daddy helped me dip the egg in. After it was dry I got to hold it. I think it is perfect.

Here are all the Easter eggs I colored with Momma and Daddy. We made one say "Momma," one say "Daddy," and one say "Memphis." Daddy even drew flames on one, and Momma made the Easter Bunny.

3-21-08...dirt bike

My dirt bikes are my favorite toys laltely. I have even perfected my own littel dirt bike noise. Here I am helping the G.O.A.T. do a superman. Woo hoo! And do you know what that even means? I do.

3-19-08...hooked on books

I can be quite the little monkey now. Even though Momma has put some books down low in my own little reading corner for me, I still prefer to climb up on the couch to get the hard-to-reach books (naturally).

...I especially prefer the ones that have cool stuff to touch in them. OOOooooo, LOOK! Bumpy tractor tires.

3-18-08...I saw the signs

I love, love, LOVE playing outside. It is where I want to be...ALL THE TIME. Today it was really cold, very windy, and I little rainy...but I still wanted to go outside. I stood at teh door signing "outside" and yelling "Ow-sigh? Ow-sigh?"

And what do I most love to do outside? Ride in my wagon, of course. So eventually Daddy went outside, got my wagon, and brought it in for me. I sat in it for most of the morning...still signing "outside." (see photo)

3-17-08...Happy Saint Pat's

Last year Grama couldn't find an outfit in my size, so she did the best she could and bought one that was actually for 9-12 months...so it still fit me this year. HA! Click back to last March 17th to see how different it looked then.

Last year I didn;t have this cool leprechaun hat though...and I had to just WATCH Momma and Daddy eat Lucky Charms for breakfast and corn beef and cabbage for dinner. This year I got to eat it too. Turns out I REALLy like them both. Maybe I am Irish?

3-16-08...Happy Anniversary

You have had the pleasure of spying on my life for one year now! Happy Blogger birthday me!

3-15-08...NY day2

The Easter Bunny visited Grama's early...and he left a beasket for me! It looks like a fire truck, but it's really an Easter basket...adn it was full of things I like. My favorites were the cars and the eggs that had the Backyardigans in them.

I gave Uncle Matt some guitar lessons.

I went for a walk with Daddy and Pop. Three generations of bage perfection... ladies, look out!

Pop and I shared a milkshake at Friendly's. Yum.
