FEBRUARY update

Here are the highlights from FEBRUARY...

I played guitar with the "peek" from Daddy. I even started making up my own songs. My favorite one goes, "Nemo! Nemo! Neeeeee-mo! Dori! Dorrrrrrrr-eeee!"

I am developing quite an imagination. I found this "button - on - chair" and when I pushed it my chair turned into a "ship!"BLAST OFF!!!!!!!

Momma took my to one of her Dr. appointments. When I heard my Baby SISter's heartbeat I said, "Choo choo train Mommy! Choo choo!" My favorite part was naviagtign the halls of the hospital.
Momma's belly is gettign BIGGER!!!!

I played "wooster trucks" (AKA monster trucks) int he snow.

I gave Daddy lots of snuggles and he showed me all about Eskimo kisses.

I was pretty sick, actually. First I had the "high fever virus." I had a fever of 104.6 for FOUR days!!! This is a photo of Momma and Daddy's weaponry to help combat that sickness. THAT silly virus REALLY irratated my asthma. I couldn't run from the couch to the kitchen wihtout coughing so hard that I threw up. A few days after that was better I got my first ever tummy bug and I had to "pook" every 10-20 minutes all ngiht long. I survived it all - and so did Momma and Daddy.

I dressed up as "BUZZ" (Lightyear...from Tiy Story). I liked to puch the buttons on my suit. I asked Momma if I coudl wear my costume shopping - and she let me!

I had SO MUCH fun playing with "Ha-ree" (Ezri). She really is my best, best buddy. On this particular day we put on some of my Daddy's old shirts and painted a mural with sponges.

We got really into it (look at Ezri's face!)

We hugged a lot too.

JANUARY update

Here are some of the highlights from January...

Daddy and Momma took me sledding down a really big hill. I had so much fun!

I used some of my birthday money to buy a toy I picked out all by myself...Wall-E!!!! I loved him right away and carried him EVERYWHERE for days.

Momma had her ultrasound done. We found out our baby looks perfect - and the Dr. was 92% sure it is a girl!
Momma and Daddy took me to the store that night and I picked out these outfits for my Baby SISTER.

I went to the dentist for my first cleaning. I did AWESOME! They let me wear these cool flower sunglasses (I still call them "eyes") to protect me from the bright light. I opened my mouth and let the Dr. count my teeth.
I got Bubble Gum flavored toothpaste. I didn't cry one bit. Momma was very, very, very proud.

I played pirates.

I played farm.
I played choo choo...I even put Wall-E in one of the boxcars and gave him a ride.

One day Momma put my winter hat on me and I said, "Ho-nee ears!" with a big giggle. I was telling Momma that this hat has flaps that hang down just like Mahoney's ears. It made me look like Mahoney!

I got my first BIG BOY chore. I clear my own plate now! When I am done eating I carry my plate over tot he counter...
...then I put it on top to help Momma. I try not to spill any food. It makes me very proud.

I went to Chuck E Cheese with Max. My favorite part was putting the tokens in the slots all by myself.
Can you believe how BIG I am getting now that I am 2?!!!!!

DECEMBER update

Here are some of the highlights from the rest of December...

I started unzipping all by myself.

Momma found out (the hard way) what happens when you leave an almost 2-year-old unattended with permanent markers and a couch (even if the caps ARE on tight, and you are ONLY GONE for 2 MINUTES).

I had fun with my car puzzle.

I played int he snow.

I had 2 parties to celebrate turning 2. My first party was at Gymboree and it had a choo choo theme...

Then, later that night, I had a party at home for my more grown-up friends. That party had a CARS theme. Look at the cake Grama made me!!!!!!!!!!

My actual birthday (Christmas Eve) began with me opening a few presents from Momma and Daddy. My favorite was my train bank. It makes train sounds when you drop money in.

Then Momma tried to do her traditional "Memphis portrait" but she forgot - I am 2 now - and FAR less cooperative than I used to be.

The only way she could get me to stay still was to let me have my B (blanket). She and Daddy later decided this is actually the PERFECT portrait of me at age 2.

To celebrate Christmas Eve we went to Meme's house for dinner 0 and we made a gingerbread house.

I had a cookie monster cupcake that night with 2 candles...

...I blew them out ALL BY MYSELF!!!!

...and I had LOTS of fun eating it!

Santa brought me my very own choo-choo table for Christmas!

I spent Christmas at home with my family.
