Just Plain Sick...

Double ear infection, coughing, sneezing, lots of phlegm and snot, not sleeping AT ALL, and crying non-stop. Momma holding me can't even console me. What happened to that happy baby? Talk to the ear infection germs...

Funny Baby...

Hey - look where Momma found me playing today...IN the toy bucket! It was rather comfortable, actually. I stayed there quite a while, perfectly content.

Here's my new smile I have 6 teeth now! 4 on top and 2 on the bottom.
And yes.

I am pretty much always this happy.

Max is here!

Here he is... Max Parker. He was born this morning at 8:10 am. He weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 inches long. He has Uncle Tyler's chin and Auntie Desiree's eyes...and a bunch of hair! He is cute, cute, cute. I went to visit him today. We didn't bring any of his presents because we were drivign by the hospital on the way home from Long Island and couldn't wait long enough to drive home and drive back again. So we just stopped on our way. I was so happy walking down the hall on my way to meet him. I was squealing with delight! I am such a lucky boy - I am so glad he's here!

Baby Max is on his way!

Momma got a call from Auntie Desiree this morning and my baby cousin is on his way - RIGHT NOW!!!!! Auntie's water broke this morning at 4:00 (what does that mean? Can it be fixed? My Daddy's real good at fixing things that break...). Momma says Max will probably be born today...exactly 11 months after me. SO SO SO EXCITING!!!! Say a prayer for them - we did!

My First Children's Museum!

Today I went to visit my friend Lexi and meet her new little brother, Benjamin. We all went out to my first children's museum.

Oooo - a big bear.
I had a lot of fun watching this train go around and around.In the "Long Island Sound" room Lexi and I put on life preservers and pretended to drive a boat.
I got to steer the wheel and use the radio!

Daddy and I went crawling through the submarine.
Int he farm room I got to ride on the pretend horse - yee haw!
I even pretended to be a chicken. I sat with all the other chickens and picked up eggs.
In the zoo room there were lots of animals. I really like to watch the turtles. They reminded me of my friends Karl and Deanna and their turtles.
Look at this GIANT bunny! When I first got int he room she was actually hopping around and then she jumped right up into her cage.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here I am in my Thanksgiving Day outfit. Daddy actually picked it out for me last year, when I was still in Momma's belly. It has a basset hound on the sleeve of the coat and on the chest of the vest. Looks just like Mahoney!

I was so, so excited to see Matthew!

Look! We match! Matthew and I had matching outfits and our Mommas and Daddies didn't even plan it. We both had plaid shirts with sweater vests.
I let Matthew borrow my old swing. I even gave him a push because I like him so much.

Once Matthew got out I decided I wanted a turn in the swing. Daddy said I looked a bit like a bear on a trike.
Momma let Auntie Desiree give me a little chocolate cake. Mmmmm.
I got it all over my face.
For dinner I had turkey, carrots, corn , and peas. Delicious.
...but not as delicious as Momma's pumpkin pie. I am thankful for pie.

Getting Ready For Thanksgiving

Today I helped Momma get ready for Thanksgiving...but I was also kind of cranky, so she carried me in my backpack. First, I helped her peel apples for the applesauce (my favorite!).
Then, while Momma was baking pumpkin pie, I helped by baking in my oven too. I kept saying, "hot" "hot" "hot!"
I can't wait to eat all this delicious food. Momma gave me a sneak peek and let me try out the applesauce - Mmmmmmmm!

Clap, clap, clap your hands!

FINALLY!!!!! After almost 9 months of careful observation, I clapped my hands all by myself for the first time today. And boy am I good at it! Good thing too...I can't even BEGIN to count how many times Momma has played Pat-A-Cake with me over my lifetime. I was simply waiting for the perfect moment.

11-19-07 Piano man...ah ha!

Sorry it's a day late. I have my first cold and have been extra grumpy/clingy...not really allowing Mommy time to help me update my blog. When I AM in a good mood all Momma and Daddy want to do is play with me. Go figure. Here's some things from yesterday...soem things that help me forget my stinkin' cold!

Isn't this toy cool?!!! I put the ball in the top and it goes down, down, down the spiral, and pops back out the bottom. Then I do it again. And again. And again. And again. And again....

First Flurries of the Year

I went out to enjoy it for a bit (see the snow flake in my hair and the one falling to my left...your right?) Momma even let me go outside even though I have my first cold (see my runny nose?) Sniffle. No, really. Sniffle!

...while I am sitting up......while I am crawling around...
...I even drive it into my oven! I also like to drive it through the door of my play house. When Momma plays with me she says, "vroooom, vrooooom, wee-ooo, wee-ooo!" That really makes me laugh.

It was pretty cold this morning when we woke up. Daddy made me wear my hat with my jammies. I look funny - don't I? Silly Daddy.

Visiting Auntie Desiree

I went o visit Auntie Desiree today. That baby in her belly (Max/Quinn) is getting big and I can't wait for himt o come out...then I will have TWO cousins! She showed me his room today - and it looks great - jungle theme and all. She even let me play with all his toys and read his books. Awwwww...he's not even here yet and already sharing with me. Here I am giving Baby Kleykamp a hug..."Come out baby!"

We all went shopping at The Christmas Tree Shop. It is actually much more fun to go there WITHOUT Daddy...no belly aching and begging to leave...all the time in the world to fool around. Look what we found!

...but that doesn't stop me from wanting to play out there!...Momma makes me wear a hat now. I keep trying to take it off, but she keeps telling me, "Hat on!"

It's nice and warm inside...especially when I get my exercise!
