I love playing in drawers...especially when Momma is cooking. She emptied the very bottom drawer a while back and filled it up with toys for me. Every once in a while she changes what toys are in the drawer to surprise me. First it was blocks, then it was little books, and now it is Beanie Babies! She sings me a song when I play in there. It goes... "Little Memphis had a drawer E-I-E-I-O! And in that drawer he had a..." then I pull out an animal and Momma says it's name... "E-I-E-I-O!" I think it's funny when she makes the animal noises. Sometimes I wish she'd keep singing the song all day long.Today I took out the chameleon and crawled over to Mahoney's dish and dropped it right in the water. Then I announced, "Uh-oh!" It was the first time I ever said it. Momma was so pleased with my talking that she barely even scolded me for playing with Mahoney's dish.
By the way, I think she filled that bottom drawer up with toys to keep me out of the other drawers. No such luck. What can I say? I am a very curious little guy.
